From Hay Shed To Bunkhouse

 

 The Bunkhouse is officially open!  How exciting is that after working to get to this point for over two years!  We want to celebrate with you in reflecting on God’s faithfulness during this time. It was the summer of 2006 when we looked at the old hayshed at The Oasis Ranch & pondered the thought of transforming it into living quarters. With the encouragement of some who understand construction more fully than us we started to lay out the possibilities of how it could be rebuilt, saving only the framework. Once some initial sketches were drawn (for anyone who worked on the project they know what we mean by sketches) we saw God open doors time  after time. There was, skinning the existing building, getting the concrete floor poured, welding I-beams to begin the initial framing, putting on a new roof, having a crew of over 40 people show up on an incredibly frigid Saturday to take on the framing project, & the development was on it’s way.  From that point God provided phenomenal individuals & groups of individuals to take on one project after another ( electrical, plumbing, heating & air, wallboard, ceilings, cabinetry, stairs, painting, tiling, carpeting,trimming, stuccoing, staining, hanging doors, building beds & closets, providing decorations, landscaping & supplies, & the list goes on). We thank God for how He provided for every step of the process & we thank all of you for allowing God
