Kingdom Cows Would you like to make a long term investment in seeing lives restored? You can buy a cow for The Oasis Ranch and it will provide a tenfold, ten year return on your investment (the cow will have 10 calves in her lifetime). The calves would be sold each year with the proceeds going to support The Oasis. We can tag the cow with your name/number so that you will be able to identify your investment in The Oasis. Purchasing a cow ($1,000) is tax deductable and it could be given as a memorial, or divided among an extended family, home group, or you may simply want to buy 10 by yourself. If you would like more information as to how you could be a part of a this project please contact us. Do You Have A….? There are always things The Oasis could use that you may no longer need. If you should have any of the items listed below & would like to donate them please contact Kel @ 620-899-1190. *Good used washers & dryers *Recliners, Couches, Rocking Chairs * Loader Tractor *Welder/Torch
THE STATE OF THE OASIS RANCH & RETREAT A little over ten years ago we felt God calling us back to Kansas to embark on a new journey with Him. What we knew at that point was that God had provided a government recognized not for profit organization called The Oasis Ranch & Retreat Center with a mission to create a setting where lives could be refreshed and restored to display His splendor. We knew, also, that the Schmucker family was willing to provide the “home place” to us as we discerned what the future held. God provided a new Kansas board of directors and with their vision we purchased 160 acres across the road for future development. The Board believed God was leading us to turn an old hay shed into what would become known as the Bunkhouse which has now become retreat facility where lives are being refreshed and restored. In the middle of the Bunkhouse project The Abbyville Community Church donated the Christian Church to The Oasis if we could have it moved within three months. We had been praying that God might provide a “country church” as a foundational setting where lives could be restored to display God’s splendor. Through some generous donations of amazing people God has put in our lives, the Oasis Church was moved and the Bunkhouse was completed. In the middle of all this a good friend asked if we could begin developing a cattle ranch together and so began the initial foundation for The Oasis Ranch which currently manages approximately 120 cow calf pairs. Now, some ten years later, we can look back and see that God is clearly building a setting for lives to be restored for the display of His splendor. This year The Oasis was able to purchase the “home place” from the Schmucker family. For the future of the Ranch development The Oasis was also able to purchase the 150 acres of pasture surrounding it. It was through the creativity of God that this was able to happen? It was through your help God, as He has done in the past, made a way for this to become a reality. Would you pray and dream with us as to how God will continue to use The Oasis Ranch to restore lives?
